Bryce.
The Hoodoos.
Moto & UTV — 2 or 3-Day Expedition
Sixty million years of erosion carved the most otherworldly terrain in the American West. The hoodoos, the amphitheaters, the Paunsaugunt Plateau — and the backcountry roads that thread between them. Almost nobody rides here. We do.

Why Bryce Canyon Backcountry
Everyone walks the rim trail.
You'll ride the plateau.
Bryce Canyon draws two million visitors a year. They park, walk to the rim, take a photo, and leave. The Paunsaugunt Plateau — the high tableland that Bryce sits on top of — is a completely different world. Ponderosa pine forests, open meadows, canyon-edge traverses, and views straight down into the amphitheater from above. Almost no one sees it.
We run this route on two machines: the Husqvarna FE 501 for riders who want to feel the terrain, and the Polaris RZR XP 4 1000 for those who want to share the experience side-by-side. Both machines are fully kitted, fully supported, and staged at the trailhead. The route works for both — and we regularly run mixed groups.

What's included
Everything you need.
Nothing you don't.
Moto or UTV
Choose your machine. The Husqvarna FE 501 for solo technical riding on the plateau trails, or the Polaris RZR XP 4 1000 for a side-by-side experience through the hoodoo country. Both machines run the same route.
Paunsaugunt Plateau
The high tableland above the canyon. Ponderosa pine forests, open meadows, and canyon-edge traverses at 8,000 feet. The views down into the amphitheater from the plateau rim are unlike anything else in Utah.
Hoodoo Country
The backcountry roads that thread through and around the hoodoo formations. Tight canyon corridors, exposed ridge lines, and the kind of terrain that makes you stop and stare every quarter mile.
Fully Supported
Chase truck on every section. Fuel, tools, water, recovery gear, and a spare machine. You focus on riding. We handle everything else.
Small Groups
Six riders or three UTVs maximum. The plateau requires individual attention — small groups move at a real pace and the guide can coach every rider through the technical sections.
Plateau Camp
One or two nights on the Paunsaugunt Plateau at 8,000 feet. Cold nights, clear skies, and a view of the Milky Way that you won't find at lower elevation. No cell service. No crowds.
The route
Day by day.
Day 1
Paunsaugunt Plateau — The High Country
Stage at Panguitch, UT. Gear check, machine walkthrough, and a morning briefing. Ride up onto the Paunsaugunt Plateau — the high tableland that Bryce sits on top of. Ponderosa pine forests, open meadows, and the first canyon-edge traverses with views straight down into the amphitheater. Technical sections increase through the afternoon as the route threads closer to the rim. First camp on the plateau at 8,000 feet.
Day 2
Hoodoo Country & The Amphitheater Rim
The centerpiece of the route. The backcountry roads that thread through the hoodoo formations — tight canyon corridors, exposed ridge lines, and terrain that looks like another planet. The amphitheater rim traverse in the afternoon: views straight down into the Silent City, the Queen's Garden, and the Natural Bridge from above. Camp on the plateau.
Day 3
Red Canyon & Return
Red Canyon — the dramatic red-and-white canyon just west of Bryce — is the send-off. Arches, hoodoos, and canyon walls in shades of red, orange, and white. The route descends from the plateau and returns to Panguitch. Debrief, photos, and a cold drink at the truck. (3-day option only.)

From the field
“I've been to Bryce Canyon twice as a tourist. This was a completely different experience. Riding the plateau above the amphitheater and looking straight down into the hoodoos from above — there's nothing like it. The guide knew every inch of the terrain.”
“Took the RZR with my wife and two kids. The hoodoo country section on day two had all four of us speechless. The camp at 8,000 feet was cold but the stars were unreal. Best family trip we've ever done.”
“Red Canyon on day three is worth the whole trip on its own. The arches, the colors, the terrain — it's like riding through a painting. I've done Moab and Sedona. Bryce backcountry belongs in that conversation.”
