Why Peru
Every other tour is a warm-up.
This is the main event.
Peru is where the riding gets serious. The Andes deliver everything at once — altitude, technical switchbacks, unpaved passes, and a landscape so dramatic it feels like another planet. The Sacred Valley, Colca Canyon, and the altiplano are not destinations. They're a gauntlet.
We run this route on ADV bikes because nothing else fits. The terrain demands range, stability, and a machine that can handle 400 miles of mixed surface without complaint. You'll cross passes that top 16,000 feet, descend into cloud forest, and camp in places that don't appear on any tourist map.

High-Altitude Routes
Passes above 16,000 feet. Colca Canyon. The altiplano. Routes that most riders only dream about. We've run them dozens of times.
Fully Supported
Bilingual guide at the front, support truck with tools, spares, fuel, and altitude medication. You focus on riding. We handle everything else.
Small Groups
Six riders maximum. Every departure is intimate, fast-moving, and guide-led. No waiting for stragglers. No compromises on pace.
All-Inclusive
Machine, fuel, lodging, all meals, guide, photographer, and airport transfers from Cusco. One price. No surprises.
Acclimatization Built In
Two nights in Cusco before the first ride day. Altitude sickness is real at 11,000 feet. We build in the time to adjust before the passes get serious.
The route
Day by day.
Days 1-2
Cusco Arrival & Acclimatization
Fly into Cusco (11,152 ft). Two nights to acclimatize, explore the city, and do a machine walkthrough. Gear check, route briefing, and a first dinner together. No riding yet — your body needs the time.
Day 3
Sacred Valley Loop
First ride day. Descend into the Sacred Valley — Pisac, Ollantaytambo, and the valley floor at 9,000 feet. Warm-up terrain with big views. Camp in the valley.
Day 4
Abra Malaga Pass
Climb to Abra Malaga (15,853 ft) — the first serious pass. Cloud forest on the descent, coca fields in the valley below. One of the most dramatic single-day rides on the route.
Day 5
Altiplano Crossing
The high plateau. Flat, fast, and otherworldly. Lake Titicaca in the distance, herds of alpaca on the roadside, and a sky so blue it doesn't look real. Camp at 12,500 feet.
Day 6
Colca Canyon Descent
The deepest canyon in the world. The descent is technical, the views are staggering, and the condors are real. Camp on the canyon floor.
Day 7
Canyon Rim & Return to Cusco
Climb out of Colca, cross the final pass, and ride back toward Cusco. 7-day riders end here. 10-day riders continue south.
Days 8-10
Southern Extension — Puno & Lake Titicaca
10-day riders push south to Puno and Lake Titicaca (12,507 ft). Floating reed islands, Andean villages, and the highest navigable lake on earth. Return to Cusco on day 10.

“I've ridden in 14 countries. Peru is the one I keep coming back to. The Colca Canyon descent alone is worth the flight.”
“The altitude hit me hard on day one. By day three I was riding the best passes of my life. The acclimatization days are not optional — trust the process.”
“Abra Malaga at sunrise. 15,000 feet. Nobody around for miles. That's the moment I understood why people do this.”
