We run this route on the Husqvarna FE 501 because the terrain demands a machine that can climb lava rock, float across sand, and pick a line through slickrock without hesitation. Show up with your gear. We handle everything else.

Moto Only
This tour runs exclusively on the Husqvarna FE 501. Intermediate off-road skill required. If you've ridden desert single-track or technical terrain before, you're ready.
Three Terrain Types
Volcanic lava rock in Warner Valley, slickrock bowls at Sand Hollow, and Gooseberry Mesa single-track. No two sections feel the same.
Fully Supported
Chase truck follows the route with fuel, tools, water, and a spare machine. You focus on riding. We handle the rest.

Day 1
Warner Valley Volcanic Loop
Stage at St. George. Gear check, machine walkthrough, and a morning briefing. Ride south into Warner Valley — black lava fields, red sandstone walls, and technical volcanic rock gardens that demand full attention. Camp in the valley as the canyon walls turn orange at sunset.
Day 2
Sand Hollow Slickrock
North to Sand Hollow State Park. Slickrock bowls, technical ledges, and open desert riding with Sand Hollow Reservoir in the background. The terrain here is deceptively technical — smooth rock that punishes a bad line choice. Afternoon push toward Gooseberry Mesa.
Day 3
Gooseberry Mesa & Return
Gooseberry Mesa single-track — one of the most celebrated moto routes in southern Utah. Technical, exposed, and relentlessly scenic. Views into Zion Canyon on the descent. Return to St. George, debrief, photos, and a cold drink at the truck.
